Top pick: #5 (YOUWONTSEEME) - Home-bred filly by "Pulpit" has early speed and trainer Steve Klesaris will drop her into a claimer for the first time. Three-year-old didn't race well at Aqueduct facing special weights on Jan. 11, but in her previous start she was competitive here at that level. She draws outside of the other speed and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #3 (Surfers Sister) - She was away slowly last out here at this level and did well to finish fifth of 10, beaten just under 6 lengths racing on a sloppy surface. Runs second off a 2 1/2 month layoff and gets the addition of blinkers.
3rd pick: #6 (Patton's Magic) - First-time starter has been working steadily since late Nov. and trainer Bernie Houghton brings in rider A.R. Rodriguez from Penn National where he's based. Stretch threat.
