Top pick: #7 (MY MISS AURELIA) (6-5) - She won an "Eclipse" award as the best 2-year-old filly of 2011 and her overall record stands at (8-6-1-1) and she's banked $2.4M which is more than the rest combined $2.1M. She's been beaten in her last pair, but they both were in G1s including a strong second-place finish to Filly and Mare champ "Royal Delta" in the "Breeders' Cup Ladies Classic" on Nov. 2 at Santa Anita. She was working very fast at Santa Anita before shipping here and is the horse to beat, though you may want to reverse your exactas for a small amount.

2nd pick: #6 (Don't Tell Sophia) (3-2) - She's in career best shape at present and was a 6 1/2 length winner here in the $100K "Bayakoa" stakes at this distance on Feb. 16. Mare has improved dramatically since returning from a two month break and is 2-for-2 here since coming back.

3rd pick: #4 (Songs and Sonnets) (8-1) - Very lightly-raced Pin Oak Stud home-bred moves way up in class, but comes off a career best when winning an allowance here by 8 lengths on Jan. 31. Grey daughter of "Unbridled's Song" is working bullets for this and trainer Don Von Hemel knows a "thing or two" about winning big races on this track.

4th pick: #1 (Tiz Miz Sue) (5-1) - Mare tries to defend her title today as she was an easy winner of this stakes last year on March 17th. She was no match for "Sophia" here on Feb. 16 in her first since Oct. 7 and should move forward off of that effort. However, she'll need to make a dramatic turnaround to win this. Not impossible.
