2nd pick: #1 (Tuggle) (3-1) - The morning line and probable favorite, this 3yo missed by a 'head' here facing similar types against his own age group Feb. 23 in his first start in five months. Speed/stalker has the rail and should be involved every step. A win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (El Asesnio) (12-1) - This longshot was a sharp six-length winner here at this distance for a $20K tag Feb. 20. Claimed that afternoon by Chris Hartman, he tired last out to finish three lengths behind 'Replete' March 21. He had to be sent hard from the rail that day, but draws a better slot here, and is capable of impacting at a big price.
4th pick: #5 (American Mandate) (9-2) - One of two entered by Steve Asmussen, and the pair race uncoupled. The colt earned a career-best figure finishing a close-up 3rd here Feb. 22. This consistent sort must be left in the mix.
