Broberg has won with 136 of 506 (27%) with fresh claims in 2019-20, and I give this 6yo a slight edge.
2nd pick: #4 (Can't Touch Me) (5-1) - She was a bit subpar when finishing a distant 4th here at this $8K tag March 6. Older mare had finished 3rd in three straight here prior to that and was beaten by two lengths or less in each. 7yo runs off a Genaro Garcia claim, and this stalker is a contender in this spot.
3rd pick: #5 (Our Girl Abby) (9-2) - Home-bred enters off a wide 3rd place finish at this tag and trip March 6. It was her third back following a 6.5-month layoff, and in her previous attempt she was only a length in back of 'Can't Touch Me.' In the mix.
4th pick: #8 (Mia Promessa) (12-1) - Longshot drops following a pair of even efforts facing tougher. She's dropping to this $8K tag for the first time and may earn a share at a big price.
