2nd pick: #4 (Gouverneur Morris) (4-1) - This promising colt from the Pletcher barn ships from Gulfstream where he finished an even 4th in the Florida Derby (G1) March 28. $600K purchase has a shot from off the pace if someone can make 'Charlatan' work hard in the early stages.
3rd pick: #8 (Anneau d'Or) (6-1) - This colt finished well back in the Louisiana Derby (G2) at the Fair Grounds Feb. 15. However, he had traffic issues and a wide trip, so that effort can be forgiven. Working well since, I like that Joel Rosario stays aboard. In the mix for a share.
