Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (MIA MISCHIEF) (4-1) - This multiple stakes winner looked sharp defeating weaker here at this distance March 20. It was her first race since Nov. 1, and it ran her local record to 5-3-2-0. Stalker finished 2nd in this race a year ago off a similar set-up, and I give her a slight edge today.
2nd pick: #6 (Amy's Challenge) (5-1) - She lost by a 'neck' here going 5.5 furlongs in the Spring Fever Stakes Feb. 29. The victim of a rather poor ride, I believe she would have won easily without that problem. Once a front end speed-ball, she's developed a rating gear, and enters today off some very fast works.
3rd pick: #1 (Bellafina) (8-5) - The morning line and probable favorite, she's racing off a four-month layoff after finishing 2nd in the G1 La Brea Stakes going seven furlongs Dec. 28 at Santa Anita. This multiple G1 winner is training fast, and the speed/stalker has the rail. A win candidate, but at a short price.
4th pick: #3 (Sunny Dale) (8-1) - Filly has won all three starts at this meet and moves way up in class as she faces stakes competition for the first time. I thought she was especially sharp winning March 27, and I think she's capable of getting a share today at a big price.
