Top pick: #8 (SECRET CIRCLE) - He was a sharp winner here of the Southwest S.(G3) Feb. 20 in his best start overall and second of his 3-year-old season. Sent back to trainer Bob Baffert's home-base of Santa Anita following that win, he's been training fast since and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #7 (Sabercat) - He closed out his 2-year-old season with a pair of impressive stakes wine, incliding an easy win in the rich Delta Downs Jackpot (G3) on Nov. 19. Working fine for his return, he's a factor if ready. Colt is one of two entered by trainer Steve Asmussen and the pair race uncoupled.
3rd pick: #5 (Optimizer) - Price-play Showed talent last year and race evenly here in a small stakes on Jan. 16 in his 3-year-old debut. Last out in the Risen Star(G2) at the Fair Grounds he was bumped at the break and raced very wide. Working fast locally, and a stretch threat.
4th pick: #2 (Unbridled's Note) - The second of the Asmussen pair, he's very lightly raced and had no chance in the Southwest when he had a poor start. Has the rail, early speed, and he could factor at a big price.
