Top pick: #2 (FUSAICHIWONDERFUL) (1-1) - Filly was undefeated (5-for-5) last year in Puerto Rico and four of those came in stakes following her maiden win. Brought to this country last winter, she's gone 4-1-1-1 since that time and has placed in a pair of G3 contests. She races tonight for a new trainer (Tevis McCauley), off almost a three month break, and daughter of "Fusaichi Pegasus" will win this if ready.
2nd pick: #4 (La Malaguena) (8-1) - Daughter of turf champ "English Channel" has gone 7-4-2-0 since being claimed by trainer Brian Michael and moves back to the local dirt following a pair of back-to-back wins on the grass. Her dirt record stands at 5-2-2-1 and she enters off a career best overall.
3rd pick: #3 (Nava) (6-1) - Home-bred enters this with three wins in a row, two at Thistledown, and the latest coming at Mount Pleasant Meadows in Michigan. In career best form and she has fine early speed.
