Top pick: #4 (LAW DOG) - He's been all over the country this year and last out was involved in a spirited speed duel thru fast fractions before tiring at Calder in a sprint stakes that was switched to the main track and run on a sloppy surface. He has a bullet work at Keeneland since and the best early speed.
2nd pick: #7 (Pyritedan) - He was an impressive wire to wire maiden winner here at this distance racing on a "good" track 15 days ago. It was his firt on real dirt and a good out of state barn (Mike Feliciano) brings him back quickly for this attempt.
3rd pick: #6 (Sydneys Harley Boy) - Gelding broke his maiden here when debuting on June 25th and has finished fourth in all three starts facing winners. In shape, leading rider Deshawn Parker is back aboard after a one race absence, and owner/trainer Andy Gish adds blinkers.
