Top pick: #6 (MR FITZRAMAHORN) (7-2) - Cal-bred chased and weakened facing tougher in his local debut, and trainer Denise Sanderson brings him back in 15 days, and drops him down in class. Gelding by "Thunder Gulch" is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Woo Woo Kid) (8-1) - Evangeline invader comes north off of a trio of competitive efforts in Louisiana facing similar, and draws the rail for his local debut. It's nice to see Rivera aboard, and this 3yo is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #1a (Faithful Gift) (3-1) - He's part of a John Haran trained entry and comes off an even fourth place finish here facing special weights on Sept. 1st. Race was a positive one for him, and was his first ever on real dirt. Drops and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #5 (Hadal Zone) (9-2) - He drops back down, goes turf to dirt, and cuts back in distance. He ran evenly last out on the grass and had finished third at this tag & trip in his previous start, and runs tonight with blinkers on.
