Top pick: #7 (DYNAMITE LONNIE D) - Colt impressened in his maiden win here three weeks ago in his first local start. Racing on a very muddy surface, he broke sharply and increased his lead at every pole to win by almost 10 lengths. In a top barn (Mike Maker) and he tends to keep tyhem sharp once in shape. The top selection in an interesting contest.
2nd pick: #2 (Jediscreto) - He broke his maiden here by just over 12 lengths in late august, then raced evenly going a mile on the Arlington turf Sept. 17 in his first facing winners. Has a sharp work at Keeneland since, and trainer Tom Amoss returns him here and switches this colt back to the dirt. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Wee Alex) - He just missed here at this level on Sept. 20 in his first off a 75-day freshening. Home-bred by "Afleet Alex" has the rail, is improving, and colt is in the win mix.
