2nd pick: #2 (Struttin It) (5-2) - Lightly raced Canadian-bred rallied while wide to finish a close up fourth here at this tag on Sept. 2nd. Good effort was her first since shipping from Fort Erie, and she draws a much better post this evening. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Waveland Jitterbug) (3-1) - Ellis Park invader has gone 15-0-4-3 during her career with all the starts coming on the dirt at or around this tag. She has a new trainer (Bart Baird), a strong 38% with new arrivals, and T.D.Houghton is aboard. Filly is in the three-horse win mix.
4th pick: #10 (Monde) (6-1) - She runs second off almost a 100 day break and rallied to finish a non-threatening fourth in her return effort. She was six lengths back of "Augenblick" that day, so she needs to do better.
5th pick: #4 (Pogo Stick Patty) (5-1) - Mare has no early speed, but has been competitive in four straight since coming off a 5 1/2 month layoff in late June. May get another minor award with a late rally.
