Top pick: #7 (HOLA FROM NOLA) - Longshot has a new trainer (Maria Bowersock) and she'll be racing this grey Canadian-bred on conventional dirt or the first time. Filly finished third on Aug. 21 at Presque Isle and has had trouble at the start in he follow-up pair. Can take this from off the pace at a nice price.
2nd pick: #9 (Fleur de Louise) - She was forced to race very widen at Presque Isle on Sept. 15 in her first back off a 70 day break, and firt off a trainer change to Jenny Johnson. Capable on the move back to real dirt and she should be a big price.
3rd pick: #6 (Blooming Flower) - Arlington invader has some ability and last out there was beaten 4 1/2 at this price and trip. She has a new trainer (Jeff Jones) and home-bred can factor on the switch over to real dirt.
4th pick: #3 (R C Road) - No-speed type rallied to finish second when running at Presque Isle on Sept. 6. He then had a very wide and even journey there on Sept. 15 after breaking from the 12 post. Filly attracts T.D. Houghton this evening and is a stretch threat.
