Top pick: #2 (SUNDAY DINNER) (3-1) - The field's most experienced maiden, she enters off a good try here at this level just 10-days ago. Filly was racing on real dirt for the first time last out and moves from the eight post to the rail. She gets a slight edge, but believe a $.50 superfecta box is the way to go in this wide open contest.
nd pick: #9 (Pondcat) (6-1) - Lightly-raced filly ships back from Kentucky Downs where she tired badly on the grass there facing much tougher. She showed fine early speed here on the dirt in her previous start and is a win candidate.
rd pick: #5 (I'll Never Tell) (7-2) - Filly tired after being involved in an early speed duel when debuting at Churchill Sept. 26. Sold privately following that start, she's brought back quickly for this attempt and should factor from gate-to-wire.
th pick: #6 (Almostevenwithevan) (5-2) - Indiana bred missed by less than a length when racing here Oct. 12. By far a career best, filly can factor with a repeat of it but will almost certainly be over-bet.
th pick: #4 (Nellie Bly) (8-1) - Nicely bred filly ran evenly when debuting here at this level and distance Sept. 13. In a capable barn (Jim Corrigan) and think she'll be competitive this evening at long odds.
