Top pick: #2 (DUELING ALEX) - Career best effort last out as he finished a bit of a "troubled" third here at this level and distance June 12. Gelding by "Medaglia d'Oro" had a tough outside post in that one yet was only beaten two lengths. Draws better today and he's the speed nearest the rail. The top pick.
2nd pick: #6 (Numb Lips) - Lightly raced, talented and improving, this colt defeated the top pick by a "neck" last out and, like that runner he also didn't have the best of journeys. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Hunter's Bay) - He impressed when going wire-to-wire when breaking his maiden at Belmont May 21. He's only started twice and well-bred home-bred is in the Pletcher barn. Working nicely since, we'll find out a lot more about his talent level today. Contender, but may be over bet.
4th pick: #8 (Harmonizer) - Another whos's lightly raced and improving, gelding's best races have come around two-turns and that's what he does this afternoon. The faster the pace, the better his chances.
