2nd pick: #6 (Write a Song) (6-1) - Speedy colt by "Songandaprayer" is another coming off a lengthy layoff (7 1/2 months), but has some impressive a.m. drills that indicate he's ready to be competitive. Lightly raced 3yo has finished third in both grass starts, including one at this trip facing tougher special weight foes.
3rd pick: #8 (Tiz a Homerun) (7-2) - Freshened up since early April, trainer Ed Plesa Jr. will adopt this $300K 4yo son of "Tiznow" into a claimer for the first time. He's been a big disappointment to date facing tougher, and this drop should make him competitive.
4th pick: #4 (Crime Time) (10-1) - Much improved since switching to the grass two back, last out here May 18 he rallied to finish third of 12, beaten just under a length. In shape and he has a recency advantage on the other three selections.
