Son of "Discreet Cat" has one serious challenger and may have just enough speed to hold him off.
2nd pick: #2 (Cape Cod Canal) - The probable favorite, he was involved in a pace-duel through fast fractions when debuting here June 2nd and after drawing clear in mid-stretch he was nailed right on the wire to finish a head back. He's worked since and is the main danger to our top selection.
3rd pick: #1 (Tough All Day) - Debuting son of "Stormy Atlantic" had a seven week gap in his training beginning in early March, but that's not unusual with horses that haven't started. He's been in steady training since late April on the training track at Saratoga and most of the works are on the quick side. Has the rail and leading rider Carmouche aboared for trainer Nick Zito.
