Top pick: #2 (ENCANTO PARK) - Solid turf runner tried the synthetic surface at Presque Isle last out and finished fourth after chasing the pace. Filly has a flexible style and should grab the inside position heading into the first turn. Can take this from that position from just off the lead.
2nd pick: #4 (Namaste's Wish) - Lightly raced this season, she's done well at and around this level after spending the majority of her career running in stakes races. One-run type is a strong win contender.
3rd pick: #5 (Talike Me) - Fast and has been freshened-up by trainer Alan Goldberg for the past seven weeks. In her latest effort she finished a pace-setting second at this level at Monmouth on August 14. Dangerous on the front end.
4th pick: #8 (Cherokee Queen) - Daughter of "Cherokee Run" has tried the "poly" at Presque Isle in her last pair and actually ran well in both. However, her best surface is the grass and that's where she runs today. Stalker has a chance from 2-3 lengths off the lead.
