Top pick: #6 (HOLD EVERYTHING) (4-1) - Gelding had all sorts of trouble last out at Del Mar and was virtually eased up at the half-mile pole. Speed/stalker from the Baffert barn drops to a new low, goes "poly" to dirt, and stretches back out in distance. Working fast since and the horse to beat.
nd pick: #2 (Royal Tale) (3-1) - Speed/stalker chased and tired at this trip for twice this price at Del Mar Aug 16. He breaks just off the rail, is working fast, and has gone 6-0-3-2 racing on conventional dirt in the past.
rd pick: #7 (Fast Mast) (5-1) - No speed type rallied while wide to finish 6th of 11, beaten six lengths going 7-furlongs for a $30K tag at Del Mar Aug 7. It was his second back from a 7-month layoff and grey 5yo has worked fast since. Stretch threat.
th pick: #9 (Intoclassmischief) (7-2) - Speedy grey gelding tired last out at Del Mar sprinting at this tag Aug 10. It was his first start in 9-months and he should be involved from start-to-finish this afternoon.
th pick: #5 (Billy Mac) (20-1) - Longshot showed a positive effort at Del Mar on Aug 8th and had raced evenly here in his previous start. May grab a share of this at a very big price.
