2nd pick: #6 (Cool Green) (4-1) - Cal bred has been competitive in two straight sprints and is trying a two-turn distance for the first time. Stalker is brought back in two weeks by trainer Doug O'Neill and looks set for the stretch out.
3rd pick: #3 (The Bench Rules) (5-1) - One of two entered by trainer Ron Ellis. Another trying a longer distance for the first time, he finished second when facing Calif. bred claimers going 6.5-furlongs at Del Mar Nov 6. Improving and he's bred to like the longer trip.
4th pick: #2 (Picasso's Mandolin) (2-1) - The second of the Ellis pair, he's been competitive in both starts at this level sprinting on the dirt. Well bet in each, he's an obvious contender, but is no lock at a short price.
