Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (KELBAKER) (3-1) - Unraced since debuting in February, she chased the pace before weakening to finish 4th of nine, beaten 12 lengths racing for a $30K tag. Claimed that day by Pete Miller, filly is working nicely at San Luis Rey Downs. Barn drops her in class and she can win this if ready.
2nd pick: #5 (Just Bookin) (5-2) - She's finished 2nd in all three starts when racing at this $20K tag. Stalker has run well here before and is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Chicago Angel) (7-2) - Long time maiden is cutting back in distance after a poor effort going a mile at Del Mar Oct. 30th. She had run 2nd in four of five starts prior to that, and she should factor in this small field.
4th pick: #2 (City Bench) (9-2) - 3yo has been bet in both starts that were separated by nine months. She has a bit of speed, and trainer Ron Ellis has her making back-to-back starts for the first time.
