Top pick: #9 (SLAPSHOT MAN) (3-1) - He's run well in all three starts on conventional dirt and actually "won" here on Sept. 19th only to be disqualified and place second. Speed/stalker is cutting back off a poor effort on the Del Mar "poly" and can take this with his best.
2nd pick: #3 (Donji) (8-1) - Gelding by "Big Brown" has early speed and is moving from "poly" to dirt for this attempt. His best ever came when he finished second at Santa Anita on Oct. 30th racing at this tag & trip. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #4 (Tiz All That) (5-2) - Another that has some speed, he's dropping in class, shortening up in distance, and is switching from turf to dirt. He worked well here recently and should factor.
4th pick: #6 (Bern) (12-1) - He's raced evenly in his last pair at Del Mar and has improved his overall "figures." He moves off the inside and may grab a share at a big price.
