Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (Silent Alarm) (4-1) - Tommy Town runner drops in class following three straight facing tougher where he's shown sharp early speed. Gelding has the rail, blinkers off, and will be tough from on or just off the lead.
2nd pick: #10 (Three Ay Em) (5-2) - He takes an even bigger drop than 'Silent Alarm'. Home bred tired during the stretch run facing tougher Aug. 19 at Del Mar and should be involved every step. A strong win candidate in his first facing claimers.
3rd pick: #7 (Agronomo) (3-1) - Dismissed at almost 50-1 when debuting Aug. 23 at Del Mar, he dueled while between horses and held gamely to finish third of seven, beaten 4 lengths at this level going 6 furlongs. This is a tougher looking group but he must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #8 (Boisterous Boy) (8-1) - Even-paced when debuting here facing tougher July 15, he tired while wide in a follow up at Del Mar Aug. 9. Capable of getting involved at a big price and I like the rider upgrade to Giovanni Franco.
