(# 1) THUNDER MOUNT - Slow start from rail in last cost runner any chance of hitting the board. Ran fine second two back at this claiming level and distance. Was facing maiden specials early in career so barn must have thought something of her. If she can avoid a disastrous beginning, I think she rates a solid chance at winning.

(# 9) Poinciana - Well bred four yr. old has never raced this low before. She also faced straight maidens almost exclusively early on. Draws well for her running style. Was prepped at Fair Hill training center after her abscence from racing in July. Interesting to note that she ran excellent fourth against colts at Colonial Downs.

(# 8) Dancinc Diligence - May go favored here off four straight in the money finishes. Unlike our top two, she started in low level maiden claimers from the beginning. Her top six furlong time is not as good as the top pair.

(# 6) Sea Dixie - Has rallied into a couple of third place finishes in six starts. Has lost ground in the lane in almost every start.
