Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (MUTAZEN) (4-1) - He moves back to the grass after finishing fourth in a two-turn dirt contest at Gulfstream March 22. He had to rush up following a stumbling start and race can be best viewed as a toss. Lightly-raced 5-year-old is clearly better on the turf and broke his maiden in Florida going a mile Feb. 2. The main speed, he has the rail and is the top pick.
2nd pick: #5 (Nessy ) (5-2) - Freshened up for the past 2.5 months, no-speed type has been competitive in most all of his nine grass starts. He's finished second and third in two starts at this distance and is working fast for his return.
3rd pick: #3 (Southern Wild) (5-1) - Gelding made up some ground while extremely wide in his seasonal debut Feb. 18 at Gulfstream. Much improved last fall, he was coming of almost a three month break that afternoon. Stretch threat and it's noted that Javier Castellano is aboard for the first time.
4th pick: #11 (Brucarita) (9-2) - Strong finisher has been competitive in all eight starts, all on the grass. He ships from Gulfstream off a win facing high-end starter-allowance foes March 16 and he's an obvious threat if able to avoid a wide trip from his outside post.
