Top pick: #9 (WINDS OF BOSPHOROUS) (7-2) - Speedy sort has been competitive all but one of his six starts and last out finished a pace-setting second here at this level going a mile on the grass April 5th. Solid effort and trainer Doug O'Neill switches him to the "poly" and cuts him back a furlong in distance.
nd pick: #7 (Holy Whirl Wind) (15-1) - Gelding by "Pulpit" hasn't seen action since late Nov. at Woodbine when he was away slowly and ran evenly as part of a heavily favored entry. Trainer Reade Baker has him working well for his return, including a bullet 3-furlong breeze on this surface two days ago. Price play.
rd pick: #6 (One Brave Warrior) (4-1) - Debuting son of "Indian Charlie" has been in steady training since mid-January and many of his works are impressive. The latest, a 5-furlong bullet breeze here a week ago suggests that trainer Tom Proctor has him ready.
th pick: #11 (Coaches Favorite) (6-1) - Excellent debut here on April 11th saw him involved every step and come up a head shy racing for a $50K tag going 6 furlongs. Trainer Phil Sims stretches him out a furlong and moves this home-bred by "Flatter" up in class.
th pick: #4 (Sevenoaks) (8-1) - Juddmonte home-bred has been bet in both starts, but hasn't shown much in either. Son of "Mizzen Mast" runs off a two month break annd trainer Bill Mott will add blinkers. Grey colt is working nicely at Churchill and probably has more talent than he's shown to date.
