Top pick: #8 (NORTH BY NORTHLITE) (4-1) - Grey filly ships up from the Fair Grounds where she just missed on March 14th in her first off a two month freshening. That was a career best overall and trainer Kellyn Gorder has worked her three times since coing to Lexington. I like her chances.
2nd pick: #3 (Flower Mart) (5-2) - Filly by "Street Sense" is (5-1-2-2) since mid-October and comes into this off a sharp maiden win at Gulfstream on March 28th. Stalker fits and is a win threat.
3rd pick: #6 (Prissy) (7-2) - Daughter of "Unbridled's Song" broke her maiden on June 1st of 2012 at Belmont Park but hasn'e faced the starter since. Ramsey home-bred is working well off a trainer switch to Mike Maker (24% with new arrivals) and he wins at a 20% clip off of long layoffs.
4th pick: #7 (Bargain Blitz) (4-1) - Always highly thought of, filly was an impressive maiden winner on Nov. 22 at Churchill and did not race again until March 1st at Gulfstream. She tired after pressing a fast pace while racing wide that day and trainer Bill Mott has worked her six times since. Dangerous.
