Top pick: #4 (LONESOME TOWN) (5-2) - Bob Evans home-bred hasn't raced since Nov. 30 at Woodbine when she rallied to miss by a neck running at this level and distance on a similar surface. Initially prepared for her return at Palm Meadows, trainer Mark Frostad has worked her twice locally since arriving in Kentucky and he has J.J. Castellano aboard.
2nd pick: #2 (Pleased as Punch) (3-1) - Nice debut on the Tampa turf on March 17th saw this filly rate early, make a strong bid to gain command, and give way grudgingly to finish second of 10, beaten a length. Trainer Phil Oliver has worked her twice on this surface and she's in the win mix.
3rd pick: #1 (Shame On You) (7-2) - Irish-bred and Engllish raced, filly ran well in her first pair, but following a poor effort a year ago at Newmarket she hasn't seen action since. Well-bred, trainer Roger Attfield has her working both frequently and above average for her first North American start.
4th pick: #5 (Perfect Forever) (3-1) - Filly is from the same barn (Roger Attfield) as "Shame" and the two race uncoupled. No-speed type hasn't run since late Nov. at Churchill and will need some pace help to set up her stretch run.
