Solid effort was his first race since last October and trainer Mike Maker has given him a pair of nice drills on the Churchill training track since. Can cause a mild "upset" today.
2nd pick: #3 (Pico Suave) - Gelding finished a close-up 3rd here facing "open" entry-level allowance foes on June 6th. He's raced 8 straight times facing "open" competition and hasn't face fellow Indiana-breds since last October when he missed by a head racing for $10K. Speedy sort should be involved from gate to wire.
3rd pick: #6 (Spy Game) - He's won both his starts easily and last out he broke running, opened up a large advantage, and coasted home by almost 7 lengths here at the previous state-bred allowance condition. Faces a tougher field today and we'll find out alot more about his talent level today.
