Top pick: #5 (CITY TO CITY) - Ultra-consistent filly comes into this off a pair of strong tries on this course in a pair of stakes. She should appreciate this 10 furlong trip after running a career best last out going 1 1/8th miles. Daughter of "City Zip" can be placed just about anywhere and that flexibility is a big plus. The top choice in a good betting race.
2nd pick: #7 (Conniption) - Irish-bred daughter of "Danehill Dancer" is lightly raced and still improving. Owned by international horseman Mike Tabor filly won here last out in her second back off a 6 1/2 month layoff and is training nicely since. Has a shot at an "upset" at this 1 1/4 mile trip.
3rd pick: #6 (Andina ) - Another Irish-bred, this one by the fine sire "Singspiel". She's run well in everyone of her seven starts and appears to be the type that can "run all day." With Talamo out of town it's nice to see Bejarano climb aboard.
