Top pick: #1 (PERSONALITARY) - Has by far the best last out and it came here at this price and distance. Gelding set a sensible pace and held dtrongly to finish second when he was passed at the 1/16th pole. Has the rail and is coming off a career best. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (River Rafting) - Price play was off slowly in his debut and finished last of 10, was only beaten 6 1/2 lengths. Trainer Dean Peterson (33% second time out), drops him way down, stretches him out in distance, and moves him from the turf to "poly." Can contend at a nice price.
3rd pick: #5 (Sidepocket Kid) - He checked-in third of seven last out, but was three lengths back of Personalitary on the wire. Improving, and he clearly prefers real dirt over "poly." Stretch factor.
4th pick: #7 (Spicy Beau) - Away a bit slowly last out after breaking from the rail, he rallied to finish fourth and will be stretching-out in distance for the first time. In the barn of veteran Art Sherman and gelding can factor at a nice price.
