Top pick: #5 (AIR UNION) - Colt was well bet in his debut here facing tougher Oct. 16 and he raced evenly after breaking from the rail post in a large field. Trainer Bob Baffert drops him into a claimer and this son of "Dixie Union" has a pair of fast works since his debut effort. Baffert wins at a 22% rate second time out and this two-tear-old faces a rather weak field for this $50K tag.
2nd pick: #3 (Miles Long Gone) - Speedy colt races first off a claim and his new trainer Hector Palma will add blinkers today. Colt has a fast work here Nov. 2 and Pat Valenzuela is named so I'm sure he'll put this horse right on the lead. Win Candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Call Me Later) - Stalker has finished second in his last pair at this tag facing fellow Cal-breds. Stays at the same price, but runs against open company today. Stretch threat, but think he needs to finish a bit better.
