Top pick: #4 (DARLING DISARRAY) - Probable favorite has finished 2nd in her first 2 starts and runs today off a 7 week freshening. Working very fast locally for her first start on this surface and she's much the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #9 (Pacific Coast Girl) - Daughter of VINDICATION showed good early speed in her debut Aug. 15th at Del Mar. Working fine since she's in a barn (AC Avila) that does very well 2nd time out (25%). Working steadily for this and barn will remove the blinkers that she wore first time out. Can contend at a nice price.
3rd pick: #2 (Confectionist ) - Raced near a fast pace in her debut before backing up she'll drop into a claimer this afternoon and its a good sign that Marty Garcia takes the ride. Good barn (Ron McAnally) is having a tough year but has won with two of his last 4 maiden droppers.
4th pick: #7 (Bella Giornatta) - Hasn't showed much in her first pair but will cut back in distance and drop into a claimer for a good barn (Mike Puype). Working nicely and could do well at a big price.
