(# 2) Hot Candy - Gelding by Deputy Minister cost $110,000 at auction. Claimed for $25,000, returned sprinting at that level then was sent long on turf in maiden special. Descends to $10,000 today which is $15,000 below claimed price. Trainer Kirby is 22% going from routes to sprints.

(# 9) I've Got Salt - High percentage Rivelli returns gelding to sprint after going long. Has a very sharp work on view for runner that hasn't shown that much. Large odds are assured.
