Top pick: #6 (CAVE CREEKER) - Daughter of "Langfuhr" just missed last out at the Fair Grounds in her first over this mile distance. In a very good barn (Louie Roussel) and she's the horse to beat if she repeats her latest.
2nd pick: #4 (Jazz Odyssey) - Sharpened sprinting in her seasonal debut, mare has many very good tries on the grass and has been unlucky not to have her first win yet. The main danger as she stretches back out.
3rd pick: #2 (Northern Swallow) - Daughter of "Northern Afleet" raced evenly at this level on the dirt April 6 in her first race in two months. Moves back to the turf whwer she ran well at Tampa in her previous start. Needs to do better.
4th pick: #5 (Under the Rim) - Daughter of "Quaker Ridge" races for the leading trainer (Frank Kirby) and will be trying both the grass and two-turns for the first time. May get a piece at a big price.
