Top pick: #1 (LUI LUHUK) - Lightly raced five-year-old faced much tougher all of last season and will drop down to the bottom here ($4000) for the first time. Latest saw him break slowly and rally late to finish fifth, beaten just over 5 lengths. Has the rail and can win this from just off the top.
2nd pick: #5 (Bold Days) - He has the best early speed of these and races off a nine-week break. Barn (Roger Brueggemann) has been hot early in the meet. Win candidate and the probable favorite.
3rd pick: #6 (War Bounty) - Veteran was away for 8 1/2 months in 2009 so he had some type of serious problem. He finished a rallying 3rd here at this price on Feb. 13 and it's good to see him making back-to-back starts.
