Top pick: #3 (TEXAS HEDGE) - Gelding has finished 2nd in two straight tries at this level and he gets a little extra distance today to help his closing style out. The winner of his latest came back to take another last out and would be a heavy favorite against theses. This 4yr.old can run them down late.
2nd pick: #11 (Monhocracy) - Has excellent early speed and finished a pace-setting 2nd here two weeks ago at this level in his 2nd start since last spring. Has a tough post but there's not a lot of other pace signed on. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Pedestal) - Races 2nd back off a 4 month break and finished an even 3rd in his return run when he was 1 1/2 lengths off of Monhocracy. Needs to step it up today.
4th pick: #2 (Daddy Forty Nine) - He had a tough journey last out when he had an outside post and didn't break well. More than capable of being a big player if he doesn't "get lost" in the early going.
