GULFSTREAM PARK Race #NINE
March 10, 2007
4:50 PM Eastern
(# 6) CHRISTMAS KID - Has proven to be a good versatile runner, like most of the Lemon Drop Kid, offspring. Excellent drills since winning the "Davona Dale," over this dirt strip. She has had two "peak" efforts in a row and this mile-and-one-eighth is a mystery to her, as it is to all of them. Pace makes the race and even more so with lightly raced gatherings.
(# 1) LISA M. - This filly may find herself much closer to the pace today breaking from the rail. She finished third to the top pair in the mile stake here last out despite being virtually eliminated at the start. Has an excellent half-mile drill for this.
(# 3) MISS TIZZYTOWN - Broke her maiden around two turns at Delaware in November. Made a bid in the mile, two turn race at Tampa in a stake that went in a good time over that deep surface.
The Plays: $10 to win on #2.
$6 exacta box on 2-6.
$3 exactas on 2-1, 2-3, 6-1, 6-3.
Total Wager = $34.00.
