(# 8) Mountain Wolf - Broke a bit slow in initial outing sprinting on dirt on Jan. 13. Raced mid-pack and finished there, getting beaten by about nine lengths. Son of El Prado, should improve on the stretch out and with the switch to the turf. Trainer Brian Lynch does well in all the pertinent categories in regards to todays scenario. In fact he is 8 for 20 with horses making their second starts, and almost 20% with horses stretching out.

(# 4) Duveen - Only turf try produced his best career effort by far. Was up close and personal the entire race, made strong bid at eighth pole and just couldn't get there. Trainer Dale Romans has given him almost seven weeks since that hard try and son of Horse Chestnut, should give another top try.
