(# 7) RUSHBUCKLER - Nice group of hard-knocking veterans signed on to compete in this one turn mile claiming event. Rushbuckler was claimed last out by Peter Walder, and that alone makes him worth a second look. Has run four sharp races in a row after the initial clunker and a third place finish at 5.5F, two efforts he obviously needed after five months on the shelf. Lost a tough decision to today's rival Kee Kaw which he would have won if he was outside instead of inside that day. Walder raises runner about 25% off the claim and draws the best possible post for his running style and the one turn distance in general. Jock has plenty of options from the outside slot. From on, or preferably just off the pace today.
