Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (UNTITLED) (7-2) - State bred won his debut here going 6 furlongs by 11 lengths while earning a huge figure. Sold privately after that Dec. 14 victory, he's been working fast and takes a big step up in class for this attempt. I give him a slight edge.
2nd pick: #4 (Green Light Go) (2-1) - Colt was an easy winner in his first pair before finishing second to the talented 'Tiz the Law' in the one-mile Champagne Stakes (G1) Oct. 5 at Belmont. Freshened up since he's training fast at the Palm Meadows Center and is an obvious win candidate if ready off the 4-month layoff.
3rd pick: #5 (Shivaree) (8-1) - Another state-bred, he's won three in a row, the latest pair coming in local 6-furlong stakes. Speed/stalker draws well and his flexible style is a plus. In the mix.
4th pick: #6 (Necker Island) (6-1) - Freshened up since Nov. 30, this colt won two in a row during the Fall at Churchill Downs. Speed/stalker is working above average at Palm Meadows, draws a good outside post, and is capable of factoring at a square price.
