Top pick: #7 (ARSON SQUAD) - If you take away this runner's races on synthetic surfaces, and his one turf outing, his record is much better to look at (12-6-0-3). Training in fine fashion for his first race since the "Cigar" mile in late November, a contest he may have been best in. Ready to roll for his trainer (Richard Dutrow Jr.).
2nd pick: #2 (Albertus Maximus) - Logical selection and probable favorite won the "Breeder's Cup Mile" last fall at Santa Anita. He hasn't raced on "conventional" dirt in some time, but he does have a win on it. Training like he's "ready to rumble" for his first start for trainer Kiaran McLaughlin. Very tough to defeat.
3rd pick: #4 (Bullsbay) - Lightly-raced, improving son of "Tiznow" brings some dangerous speed/stalking ability to a race without much of that commodity. Rail runner will be the early leader, but won't last, leaving the stalkers at an advantage. Think he'll run big.
