Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (ETE INDIEN) (9-5) - He was a very easy winner here in the Fountain of Youth Stakes (G2) at this distance Feb. 29. In his follow up in the Florida Derby (G1) on March 28, he was a bit nervous before the running and after setting the pace, he tired to finish 3rd. Unraced since, he's working fast, has the rail, and gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #4 (Shivaree) (9-2 ) - A very busy colt, he's gone 10-3-3-1 to date with all of but one of those starts coming at Gulfstream. He has a stalking style, and last out was just under a length in front of 'Ete Indien' in the Florida Derby (G1). An obvious contender.
3rd pick: #7 (Sole Volante) (2-1) - Competitive in all his starts (5-3-1-1), he won Tampa's Sam F. Davis Stakes (G3) Feb. 8, then rallied to finish 2nd there in the Tampa Bay Derby (G2) March 7. On the sidelines for the past three months, he'll need a fast and/or contested pace to help his style out.
