He has a ground saving post and can take this with a late run.
2nd pick: #6 (Delta Bluesman) (7-2) - Speedball has been on the sidelines since July 1 when he tired to finish fourth here in a G3 sprint stakes. Working fast, he's from the high-percentage barn of George Navarro and is a solid win candidate with Irad Ortiz Jr aboard.
3rd pick: #8 (Ekhlaas) (6-1) - Sold privately last year, 6-year-old by 'Bernardini' went 12-2-4-3 during his lightly-raced career on the NYRA circuit. Training steadily for his new barn (Tony Sano) he could factor if ready.
4th pick: #2 (Sunshine N Shadow) (12-1) - Speedy colt finished second here at this level and distance Dec. 24. It was a solid effort but he needs to pick it up some to have a good shot at the top spot.
