Top pick: #5 (MISS LAMOUR) (2-1) - Lightly-raced filly is one of two entered by trainer Mike Matz and the pair race uncoupled. This home-bred daughter of the late "Mr. Greeley" broke her maiden here going a "flat" mile on Dec. 5 and earned by far the highest Byer figure that any of these has run. That also made her the only filly to have a local win and she'll be very tough today with anything near her latest.
2nd pick: #2 (Heart Stealer) (6-1) - Daughter of "Speightstown" cost $300K and has been freshened up since breaking her maiden at Churchill on Nov. 4 going 7 furlongs. Working very fast locally for this attempt and she has more early speed than most. Win candidate at nice odds.
3rd pick: #8 (Cloudy Vow) (3-1) - Filly has been competitive in all four appearances and in her last pair has finished third and fourth in a pair of late season stakes at Churchill Downs. Lasix is added today and she's an obvious threat.
