It was her first since checking in 2nd at this distance when debuting at Churchill Downs Nov. 16. She gets a small edge in this one.
2nd pick: #5 (Dig Deeper) (3-1) - One of four fillies making their debuts, daughter of 'Candy Ride' has been working very fast at the Palm Meadows Center for trainer Alan Goldberg (15% first out). The latest of those drills saw her breeze a bullet half-mile Feb. 12 (best of 33 at the distance that morning).
3rd pick: #9 (Shanghai Shuffle) (5-2) - Another making her debut, daughter of 'Shanghai Bobby' cost $275,000 as a yearling back in Sept. of 2016. In the Pletcher barn (27% first out), she's been prepared at the Palm Beach Downs Center, and has Javier Castellano aboard.
