Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #11 (CAP DE CREUS) (3-1) - A daughter of 'Tapit', she rallied to finish second here at this level Jan. 2 going 8.5 furlongs. It was her first since Oct. 14, first on the grass, and a career best to date. In the Pletcher barn, I give her a slight edge.
2nd pick: #1 (Sister Kitten) (5-2) - Competitive in both starts, Ramsey home bred by 'Kitten's Joy' is training steadily at the Palm Meadows Center for her first since Oct. 20. She rallied strongly that day to finish a close-up third at Keeneland and this filly is in the barn of Chad Brown. She has a ground-saving post and is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Mrs Got Rocks) (6-1) - A home bred filly by 'Lemon Drop Kid', she rallied while widest to check in 4th of 10, beaten 4.5 lengths in a good initial attempt. She's worked three times since and is bred to like this 9 furlong distance.
4th pick: #10 (Midnight Party) (10-1) - She was bumped and steadied debuting here Jan. 21, but was allowed to settle without being rushed and she was making headway during the stretch run. A Stronach home bred by 'Ghostzapper', she may factor at a big price with a clean beginning.
