2nd pick: #6 (Unbridled Juan) (6-1) - He's one of nine making their first start. Home bred by "Unbridled's Song" has some sharp works on view at Palm Meadows. Canadian-based trainer Brian Lynch wins at a solid 25% with debuting stock.
3rd pick: #11 (Rare Art) (5-1) - From the barn of Chad Brown (22% first out) grey son of "Speightstown" had a sharp half-mile gate breeze at Palm Meadows Jan. 29. Can factor if ready.
4th pick: #1 (Topara) (15-1) - Longshot has been freshened up since finishing fourth when debuting on Nov. 1 at Churchill going 7-furlongs. Has the rail and it's noted that the winner in his first start "War Story" is a talented one.
5th pick: #14 (Spinner) (12-1) - Colt by "Hard Spun" makes his debut off of some very fast drills. However, he draws a tough outside post and trainer Nick Zito is traditionally not good first time out. There are exceptions to every rule and this $360K yearling may be a runner.
