Top pick: #1 (MORE THAN A PARTY) (3-1) - Consistent speed/stalker is working fast for her first since early Sept. Jersey bred has gone 7-3-2-1 sprinting on the dirt and is 4-2-1-1 at this trip. She broke her maiden here in late January and can take this if ready from her inside post.
2nd pick: #10 (Angel Code) (5-2) - Grey filly is well bred and has excellent early speed. High-percentage barn (Jorge Navarro) has her working fast for her first since late October. She had gone 3-2-1-0 at that time and one of those wins came at Belmont Park. A strong win candidate and I almost made her the top choice.
3rd pick: #5 (Upbeat Mood) (7-2) - California invader has a new trainer (Marty Wolfson 26% with new arrivals) and he has this filly by "Mizzen Mast" working fast for her dirt debut. Dangerous foe.
4th pick: #3 (One Look) (6-1) - Stalker comes into this off a pair of sharp efforts at this level. Her latest saw her miss by a "neck" on Nov. 15 and it earned her a career best figure. Must be left in the mix.
