Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (DR POST) (3-1) - A $400,000 son of 'Quality Road,' he was a sharp maiden winner going seven furlongs in very fast time (1:22.20) here March 29. It was only his second start and first since debuting July 4 at Belmont Park. In the Pletcher barn, he has this colt taking the next logical step while stretching out around two turns.
2nd pick: #4 (Relentless Dancer) (10-1) - Longshot drops in class and has good early speed. He's tired in a pair of 'Graded' stakes and is working fast for this attempt. Louisiana-bred has kept talented company, and his experience around two-turns makes him dangerous at a big price.
3rd pick: #2 (Americanus) (9-2) - He's gone 4-2-1-0 so far and is working steadily for his first since winning a seven-furlong first-level allowance here Feb. 22. Stalker should get a good trip and is in the mix as he tries a two-turn distance for the first time.
4th pick: #1 (Necker Island) (12-1) - Another dropping in class, he finished an even 5th of 11, beaten just over five lengths March 7 at Aqueduct while going a one-turn mile in the Gotham Stakes (G3). Colt has a flexible style, draws the rail int his one, and is capable of factoring at long odds.
